Planning a resurfacing job and want a ballpark before you ring anyone? This estimator turns the published NSW price guides into a rough range for your slab. It shows the guide behind every figure, so you can read the source yourself.
How the estimate is worked out
Pick the kind of work, type in the area in square metres and say what condition the slab is in. The tool multiplies your area by the low and high per-square-metre figures from the published guide for that service. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no figure here is a quote from Decograde Concrete Resurfacing.
Figures come from this published price guide. Read it for the conditions behind the range.
What this estimate cannot tell you
It is an industry-typical range, not a quote. The published bands for pool decks and patios borrow the nearest published figures, because no source we read prices those two on their own. Area, access, the finish you pick and the state of the slab all change a real quote, and only a written estimate after a look at your slab is the number that counts. See the concrete resurfacing cost guide for the factors behind the figures.
Getting a better number
Measure the slab, count the cracks and note any oil or old paint before you ring. Photos help more than words. The post on resurfacing, paving or replacing explains when resurfacing is not the right job, and our resurfacing page shows how a job runs.
